The Full Story
The Lowell Charter Township Parks Committee is proud to unveil the second annual BridgeFest, a momentous event set to take place in the heart of Lowell Charter Township on June 28, 2025. This celebration promises to be a grand affair, uniting the Lowell community in a day of festivities while supporting local non-profits and organizations.

BridgeFest 2025 will transform our Grand Riverfront Park into a vibrant hub of activity, offering an array of entertainment, culinary delights, and family-friendly fun. From 10:00 AM to dusk, attendees will be able to participate in one of many tournaments: pickleball, volleyball, and disc golf. For those runners looking for a 5K experience, there will be a 5K run starting at the South Park Pavilion at 8 AM. Live music will begin at 10 AM and will conclude at 5 PM. Musicians will be playing an array of genres from bluegrass to country and American traditional to rock and blues. From noon until 7 PM, food trucks will be present in the South Park. Furthermore, Impact Church will open its parking lot for attendees while sponsoring free ice cream at Corner Stop Ice Cream.

As the second annual BridgeFest, this event holds special significance for the Lowell community. Not only does it mark the continuation of a new tradition, but it also serves as a platform to give back to our community. Proceeds from BridgeFest will benefit local non-profits and organizations: primarily, the Lowell Charter Township Parks Fund and Lowell-area children’s sports teams.

"We are thrilled to host the second annual BridgeFest this June. BridgeFest is an exciting opportunity for our community to come together in fellowship and fun, with great food, activities, and music," said Jerry Hale, Lowell Charter Township Supervisor. "We hope that this event will not only be a memorable family experience but also that it will be fruitful to the conservation of our park and community as a whole. We are honored to support local non-profits that play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents."

BridgeFest will showcase a diverse range of activities and attractions, including tournaments, food offerings from local vendors, live entertainment featuring talented local musical artists, and engaging activities for attendees of all ages. Additionally, guests will have the opportunity to explore the rich history and culture of Lowell by visiting the Betty Yeiter Fur Trade Interpretive Cabin, which will be open and staffed by members of the Lowell Area Historical Committee.

"We invite the entire community to join us for a day of celebrating our community and our shared connection at the second annual Lowell BridgeFest," added Jerry Hale, Lowell Charter Township Supervisor.

"BridgeFest 2025 is made possible by the generous support of our sponsors, volunteers, and community partners. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who have contributed to bringing this vision to life,” said Jerry Hale.
